All Germanna Community College students must take a placement test prior to enrolling in classes through Germanna. In order to better understand the placement test, I sat for it myself, and in this video I share my experience. I explain what the placement test is, why the test is required, what you can do to prepare for the test, and what your test results mean. Greater Numbers of Students Choosing College as First-Year Enrollment Rises
More high school seniors are opting to enroll in college according to a report released by Colleges Ontario. Ontario's colleges have experienced their highest-ever first-year enrolment this year. Meanwhile, the Ontario Universities Application Centre (OAUC) reported 90029 students entered first-year undergraduate studies in Ontario universities this year. Even in the height of the recession, more than 83 per cent of college graduates were hired within six months of graduation, according to the most recent Key Performance Indicators collected by the province. And 93 per cent of employers are satisfied or very satisfied with the performance of college graduates. Ontario's colleges have been actively promoting the value of a college education for people entering the new knowledge economy. The promotion has included the launch earlier this month, of a new advertising campaign that promotes the leading-edge careers available to college graduates in areas such as game development, biotechnology, and forensics. The new campaign includes TV, radio, Internet, newspaper and transit shelter ads. Rick Santorum Believes Obama wants to Indoctrinate Students by Boosting College Enrollment!
Rick Santorum believes President Obama wants more young adults attending college so they can under go "indoctrination" to a secular world view. Also, he believes women should not use contraceptives. His beliefs are so radical right it's beyond comprehension! Yet, it represents the way Republicans believe today! My belief is we need a 3rd Political Party that is more centrist, representative of the Middle Class and the 99 percenters, and not reflective of the 1 percenters!
